My name is Steve Calland-Scoble.

You’ll work directly with me as your coach who listens, understands and helps you. Together, we’ll create clear plans, track real results, and celebrate each win along the way.

With nearly two decades of experience as a director of international schools, I bring both deep leadership expertise and practical insight into the realities of leading in complex organisations.

I have guided schools through meaningful improvement, led through periods of change, and supported diverse teams in building high-performing, positive school cultures.

This breadth of experience allows me to support clients in navigating leadership challenges with clarity, developing strategic thinking, and turning new perspectives into meaningful, achievable outcomes.

As a UK national, I grew up between cultures, an experience that continues to influence how I understand people, leadership, and connection. My perspective is shaped by a truly international background. 

For over 30 years, I have worked as an educator and leader in Europe, South America, the Middle East and Asia. Each experience has added depth to my understanding of intercultural leadership and what it takes to succeed in diverse, global environments.

Today, I am based in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, which my family proudly calls home.

During my leadership career, I chose to deepen my passion for developing others by training as a Co-Active Coach Practitioner.

This approach to coaching is built on a powerful partnership between coach and client. At its core is the belief that you are naturally resourceful, creative, and capable.

Rather than focusing only on solving isolated problems, Co-Active Coaching works with you as a whole person, integrating your professional ambitions, personal values, and life beyond work.

This holistic approach helps you move forward with greater clarity, purpose, and alignment in the areas of your life and leadership that matter most.
